St. Mary Star of the Sea’s Banner

During a fraught week for our city and country, in which multiple pipe bombs were mailed to prominent figures and a murderous attack was waged on the worshipers in a Pittsburgh synagogue during Shabbat services, a timely banner was installed by Charles Roussim outside of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Carroll Gardens. Based on the Golden Rule, the banner expresses the sentiment of loving your neighbor no matter what your differences may be, with no exceptions. As noted by St. Mary’s Pastor Father Chris Cashman, “Christ’s message of love and respect needs to be embraced by all now more than ever!”
