Snatch a Master Workshop Spot with Stylist Alastair McKimm

There’s one day left to submit an application to be one of 10 participants in Red Hook Lab’s Master Workshop with Alastair McKimm. 

 Selected participants will have their work evaluated by the renowned stylist whose vision has collaborated with brands like Calvin Klein, Alexander Wang, Jill Sander and Saint Laurent, and teamed with photographers including Mario Sorrenti, Collier Schorr, Inez and Vinoodh, Dan Jackson and Davis Sims. McKimm will also share his insight and experience, and help each participant in moving their work forward. 

 The one-day workshop will take place on May 4, 1-5 pm, at Red Hook Labs (133-135 Imlay St.). Interested stylists need to submit an application, which can be found on redhooklabs.com/workshops/master-workshop-with-alastair-mckimm/. (Please note “RHL25 Master Workshop with Alastair McKimm” on the application.) Applications are due tomorrow, April 27, and should be emailed to school@redhooklabs.com. The class costs $450. 

 McKimm is a regular contributor to T, The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, Self Service and British Vogue. He was also the first New York fashion director at i-D Magazine from 2013 to 2018, and has been named as a part of the Business of Fashion 500. According to the Business of Fashion, he’s known for his bold and modern aesthetic and ability to blend modern luxury with youth culture and streetwear
